Australian Homemade is the name of a company headquartered in Veenendaal (The Netherlands ) that specializes in the worldwide distribution of ice cream and chocolate made from “all-natural ingredients”.
Australian Homemade sells ice cream and chocolate pralines in its own and franchise shops in the Netherlands . It also sells packaged ice cream and chocolate with retail partners. There is also an online shop. There are around 12 Australian Homemade Shops in the Netherlands .
Originally, the Australian aunt of the later company founder, Frederic van Isacker, provided him with recipes for freshly made ice cream recipes from the outback . In 1995 the first Australian Homemade Shop outside Belgium opened in the Netherlands.
In Germany there was a branch in Friedrichstrasse in Berlin from 2002 to 2007 .
