Offshore
The following Australian facilities of Australian Worldwide Exploration are located offshore off the coast of the Australian state of Victoria in the Bass Strait .
In the bass gas project off the coast, AWE has production platforms that have been supplying gas from two sources with a volume of 333 petajoules of gas to the coast via a pipeline to Lang Lang since 2007 . AWE holds a 57.5% stake in these plants.
AWE has a 25% stake in the Casino Gas Project in the Otway Basin , a sedimentary basin , with 96 petajoules of daily production and produces 205 petajoules in the Henry Gas Project.
On Cliff Head oil project AWE is the majority shareholder with 57.5%, which is a delivery volume from 4,000 to 5,000 barrels has daily. The project is connected to the coast by two pipelines .
Onshore
The Perth project near Dongara in the interior of Western Australia by Australian Worldwide Exploration yields 522 barrels of oil per day and has a total reserves of 1.9 million m³ of gas.
In 2014, the company discovered another large gas deposit in the Perth sedimentary basin .
New Zealand
In New Zealand , Australian Worldwide Exploration is involved in a joint venture , the Tui Area Oil Project, off the coast of the Taranaki Basin. The reserves there are estimated at 50.5 million barrels of oil. The estimated capital cost is $ 270 million. The Tui oil is obtained from four oil wells.
Indonesia
In Indonesia , Australian Worldwide Exploration is conducting reservoir exploration offshore in eastern Java , and from 2010 pilot drilling will be carried out in three Indonesian areas of Java. AWE is conducting initial geological studies in the area of northern Madura Island .
Argentina
In Argentina holds AWE Limited together with Chevron Corporation and Apache Corporation concession in the sedimentary basin of Neuquén natural gas exploit. This project started in 2000 and the first natural gas was extracted in 2002. In this project no oil, only gas and condensate is produced.
Yemen
In Yemen near Al-Meashar , Australian Worldwide Exploration is involved in two oil wells, one of which produces 700 barrels a day. Another well is being tested at Jebel Al Milh and the first drilling is planned for late 2010 or early 2010.
