Auweshusen

Auweshusen is a deserted area in the district of Neukirchen in the city of Lichtenfels in the Waldeck-Frankenberg district in northern Hesse .

The place in the "Auewiese" corridor , east of the village of Neukirchen, was first handed down in 1336.

history

In 1336 Count Heinrich IV. Von Waldeck gave Count Johann von Nassau-Hadamar for the bridal treasure of his daughter Else a. a. the village of Auweshusen as a pledge .

In 1370 it was designated as an estate located in the field of Neukirchen, which was then Count Heinrich VI. von Waldeck pledged to Gerhard von Dersch . It was still in this family in 1473, when it was already known as a desert.
