Axel Bruhn

Axel Bruhn (born April 13, 1904 in Hanover , † December 31, 1983 in Hamburg ) was a lawyer and Hamburg politician ( CDU ).

Education and professional activities

From 1910 to 1922 Bruhn graduated from the secondary school in Harburg. This was followed by studies in chemistry and law at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen and the University of Hamburg . He successfully passed the trainee exam in 1926 and the assessor exam in 1930 in Hamburg. During his studies he became a member of the Cheruskia Hamburg armed forces , the later Corps Irminsul , to which he belonged until his death.

This was followed by activities at the Reich Patent Office and the public prosecutor's office in Hamburg . In October 1931 he was admitted to the bar in Hamburg. From 1939 to 1945 he was on the board of "Deutsche Sprengchemie Berlin".

Political career

1953 Bruhn was a member of the district assembly elected Hamburg-Harburg. He had been a member of the CDU since 1946 and was, among other things, district chairman in Harburg. In 1957 he was elected member of the Hamburg parliament . Bruhn remained a member of parliament in the 4th and 5th electoral terms (1957–1966). From 1962 to 1966 he was a member of the property committee and secretary of the committee for town planning, construction and housing. From 1962 to 1963 he was a member of the special flood disaster committee.
