Axel Glanz (born December 21, 1962 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German management consultant, author and entrepreneur.

education

After graduating from high school , Axel Glanz studied economics and business administration in Marburg , Frankfurt am Main and Santo Domingo . He then worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Capital Market Research at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. In 1991 he obtained his doctorate in economics at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main with Werner Meißner on the subject of " Economics of Standards " .

job and career

After completing his doctorate , he began his professional career in 1991 at the strategy consultancy MSU in Bad Homburg. During this time as a consultant , he advised German automotive, telecommunications and media companies. In 1994 he switched to the Diebold management consultancy in Eschborn. There he was responsible for media and digital business and was appointed partner in 1999 . In January 2000 he and other partners founded Active Film AG , a company in which Gruner and Jahr and the Dresdner Bank participated. In 2002 he resigned from the board. He is the managing director of the Innovations Institut GbR in Frankfurt am Main.

family

Glanz has been married to Diana Feldmann since 1991. The two have two grown children and live in Frankfurt am Main.
