Axel Jacobsen (born July 10, 1984 in Necochea , Argentina ) is a Danish volleyball player .

Career

Jacobsen began his sporting career in 2001 with the Argentine club Azul Voley Club . From there, the setter switched to the Danish first division club SK Aarhus in 2004 . The Danes called the native Argentine into their national team this season . After a season with the Italian second division club Pallavolo Pineto , he joined the Austrian Bundesliga club Aon hotVolleys Vienna in 2006 . In 2008 he returned to the second Italian division and played first with Samgas Crema and then with the Canadiens Mantova . In January 2011, the Polish club AZS Olsztyn signed him as a replacement for an injured player. In the summer of 2011 he finally came to the German Bundesliga club TV Bühl . After a short interlude with the Italian second division club Volley Brolo , Jacobsen returned to TV Bühl in November 2012. In 2014 Jacobsen returned to Argentina, first to the Club Ciudad de Bolívar and from 2015 to the UPCN Voley Club.
