Axel Jarchow (born February 22, 1989 in Leipzig ) is a German basketball player . He is 1.95 m tall and plays in the position of shooting guard . He played 18 games in the Bundesliga.

Career

Axel Jarchow played in the U16 team at USC Leipzig in the 2004/2005 season. He moved to Quakenbrück in 2006 and played in the 2006/2007 and 2007/2008 seasons in the youth team of the Artland Dragons in the youth basketball league . In addition, he was from the 2006/2007 season to the 2007/2008 season in the squad of the Artland Dragons and came to a few short appearances in the basketball league .

Due to his age, Axel Jarchow could no longer be used in the junior basketball league from the 2008/2009 season . He moved to TSV Quakenbrück , the cooperation partner of Artland Dragons , and played mainly in the Oberliga West season of the Lower Saxony Basketball Association . From mid-January 2009 Jarchow played for Rasta Vechta in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA . After promotion to the Bundesliga with Vechta, he made further appearances in the nationwide highest league in the 2013/14 season.

For the 2015/2016 season, Axel Jarchow moved to the second team of SC Rasta Vechta . He was last used there in the 2016/17 season.

Success in the BBL

Jarchow won the German Cup in 2008 with the Artland Dragons.
