Axxess & Ace is the third studio album by the American indie rock band Songs: Ohia around the songwriter Jason Molina . The album was recorded by Michael Krassner at Truckstop Studios in Chicago , Illinois , USA .

background

All of the tracks on the album were written by Jason Molina. In addition to Geof Comings, with whom he had already worked on previous Songs: Ohia albums, Molina was also able to win over musicians from the boxhead ensemble , founded in Los Angeles by Michael Krassner . Molina presented the finished songs to the musicians on the first day of recording. The album was then recorded almost entirely live.

The album was released on March 15, 1999 by Secretly Canadian on CD and LP. Both editions have the order number SC024 and are available from Cargo Records in Germany .
