Wetzlos is a district of the market town of Haunetal in the Hersfeld-Rotenburg district , Hesse .

State road 3471 runs through the village , and federal motorway 7 runs past the village to the west .

The small village was first mentioned in a document in 1538 in a border regulation treaty. In 1939 the village belonged to the district of Hünfeld and had 106 inhabitants. The village community center was built in 1989.
