Strengthless is a district of the market town of Haunetal in the Hersfeld-Rotenburg district in East Hesse .

District road 25 runs through the village .

history

The small village was first mentioned in a deed of gift dated August 13, 1294, when it was transferred from the von Schlitz to the Johanniter branch in Grebenau .

Only small remains of the castle property built in the 14th century remain. The school was built in 1924. In 1939 the village had 171 inhabitants. The village community center was built in 1965.

On August 1, 1972, the town , which was then part of the Hersfeld district, was incorporated into the Haunetal community by state law as part of the regional reform in Hesse .
