Meisenbach is a district of the market town of Haunetal in the Hersfeld-Rotenburg district , Hesse .

The federal highway 27 runs east around the place and west the railway line of the north-south railway , which leads from Hanover to Würzburg .

history

The small village was first mentioned in documents in 1317. In 1939 the village had 73 inhabitants. On December 31, 1971, the place that was then part of the Hünfeld district was incorporated into the Haunetal community.
