Ayelt Komus

Ayelt Komus (* 1968 in Bremen ) is a German economist and has been a professor for organization and business informatics at the Koblenz University of Applied Sciences since 2004 .

Life

After studying business administration at the Technical University of Dortmund , he received his doctorate in 2001 under August-Wilhelm Scheer with his work on benchmarking as an instrument of intelligent organization at the University of Saarland . In June 2004 he was appointed professor. for business informatics and general business administration at the Koblenz University of Applied Sciences . Komus is the scientific head of the computer centers at the Koblenz University of Applied Sciences, co-initiator of the Koblenz model factory and head of the laboratory for company information systems. Komus is also the advisory board member of ProjektMagazin and the author of Computerwoche with a focus on digitization and agile project management.

Research priorities

His research focuses on agile methods , project management and process management and social media . He is the initiator of various studies in cooperation with organizations such as the Society for Process Management, the GPM - Society for Project Management eV and Scrum.org . In 2016/2017, Komus headed the third edition of the Status Quo Agile study , which with more than 1000 participants is the largest study on agile project management in Europe.
