Ayesha Takia ( Hindi : आयशा टाकिया, Āyaśā Ṭākiyā ) (born April 10, 1986 in Bombay , India ) is an Indian actress .

biography

Ayesha Takia comes from a mixed family. Her father is Gujarate and her mother is half British and half Marathon . She grew up with English as her mother tongue and had to learn Hindi and Telugu for her film roles .

It first appeared in a famous Kampaigne I'm a Complan® Boy! I'm a Complan Girl! with Shahid Kapoor . At fifteen she took part in a Falguni Pathak music video for the song Meri Chunar Udd Udd Jaye . Then she was back in front of the camera with the video Shake It Daddy and drew the attention of the film industry and she was offered several film roles.

She first signed the film Socha Na Tha followed by Taarzan: The Wonder Car . But since the second film was first released, it is referred to as her debut film. For the role in Taarzan: The Wonder Car she finally won the Filmfare Award / Best Debut .

After that, she made some films that flopped at the box office. But with Dor , she was highly praised for her work and has also won a few awards.

She is married to Farhan Azmi.
