Salaam-e-Ishq or Salaam-e-Ishq: homage of love ( Hindi : सलाम-ए-इश्क़, Urdu : سلام عشق translated: A Tribute to Love ) is a Bollywood - ensemble film from 2007. The film became a success especially outside of India.

The love story of Kkamini and Rahul
Kamna changes her name to Kkamini and hires Babu as a manager. From then on, she is considered a promising young star in Bollywood . Nevertheless, she would like to change her image as an item queen in order to be taken seriously as a serious actress. Her dream is to get a lead role in a Karan Johar film. At a press conference, she claims to be in love with a certain man named Rahul. When a man in London actually poses as her childhood friend Rahul, Kkamini has no choice but to play the game he invented. Ultimately, they both fall in love and Rahul confronts her with a decision - either him or her career.
Love story of Gia and Shiven
Gia Bakshi lives with her father Colonel Bakshi and falls in love with the party animal Shiven. Both are already engaged and want to get married soon. Until Shiven gets jittery about it because of Jaggus stories about marriage. Therefore he leaves Gia, who agrees to go out despite an arranged marriage to Rohit.
Love story of Seema, Vinay and Anjali
Vinay has been married to the perfect wife Seema for 15 years. Everything else also looks perfect on the outside: his two children, the well-paid job, the big house in London. But none of this fills the void in his life. One day he meets half his age Anjali on the train and starts an affair with her. When Seema is making the necessary preparations to leave for Gia's wedding, Seema catches the two of them hugging in Vinay's office. She is leaving him.
Love story of Tehzeeb and Ashutosh
Ashutosh falls in love with TV reporter Tehzeeb and proposes marriage to her in front of the camera. His father is against marriage because Tehzeep is a Muslim. After two years of happy marriage, misfortune happens. In the event of a train derailment, Tehzeeb is among the injured and loses her memory. Ashutosh's attempts to get Tehzeeb back her memories of him fail, so that Tehzeeb plays with the idea of returning to her parents' house.
Love story of Stephanie and Raju
Raju is a taxi driver and dreams of finally meeting his dream woman. In fact, he meets her too. It's Stephanie who travels halfway around the world to win back her friend Rohit. They travel through half of India together and when they finally find Rohit, he is about to marry Gia.
Love story of Phoolwati and Ram
Ram marries the attractive Phoolwati and is already looking forward to the wedding night. But everything goes wrong there. During a romantic approach, they accidentally torch the whole house. And it just won't work at the next opportunity either.

- Karan Johar cannot be seen in the entire film, but can only be heard on the phone.
- In Germany, Salaam-E-Ishq was released as a dubbed version on DVD for the first time on September 26, 2008, released by the film label Rapid Eye Movies .

“ Salaam-e-Ishq is not a great innovative or stunning cinema, but it is entertaining in all respects. If a film manages to hold interest for three and a half hours, it deserves attention on its own. Advani succeeds in conveying something in every scene - which is not the case in all Bollywood films. (...)
