Isha Koppikar ( Hindi , ईशा कोप्पिकर, Īśā Koppikar, born September 19, 1976 in Bombay , now Mumbai) is an Indian film actress and model .

Life

Isha Koppikar attended Ruia College in Mumbai and studied biology . While in college, she modeled for Gautam Rajadhyaksha . She took part in the Miss India Contest in 1995, won the "Miss Talent Crown" and modeled for L'Oréal , Rexona , Camay , Tips & Toes and Coca-Cola, among others .

Her first film was the Tamil film En Swasa Katre . She played alongside Arvind Swamy , one of the most successful actors of the time. She got positive reviews for the role and decided to work in Bollywood : her first film there was Ek Tha Dil Ek Thi Dhadkan (1997), which was directed by Shah Rukh Sultan , but not to this day (as of September 2005) has appeared.

Koppikar had a few minor roles in Fiza (2000) and Pyaar Ishq aur Mohabbat (2001) until she appeared in 2002 for Ram Gopal Varmas Company - The Law of Power as the item girl in the song "Khallas!" . With that she achieved her breakthrough and was nicknamed "Khallas Girl". In Only Your Heart Knows Truth ( Dil Ka Rishta ), she starred alongside Aishwarya Rai and Arjun Rampal . In Girlfriend (2004) she plays a woman who has a lesbian relationship, and in D (2004) she worked again with Ram Gopal Varma in the prequel of his film Company . In 2005 she played as Arshad Warsi's friend in the Salman Khan film Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya - Why did I fall in love?
