Aymée Martínez
Aymée Martínez ( Aymée Martínez Viart; born November 17, 1988 in Pinar del Río ) is a Cuban sprinter who specializes in the 400-meter run .
In 2007 she won the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro with the Cuban team in the 4 x 400 meter relay . At the World Athletics Championships in Osaka , she reached the semi-finals in the individual competition and came in seventh place with the Cuban relay.
In 2011 she failed at the World Championships in Daegu over 400 m in the lead. At the Pan American Games in Guadalajara , she was fourth in the individual competition and defended the title with the Cuban relay.
At the 2012 Olympic Games , she was eliminated with the Cuban relay in the first round.
