Ayu Gani

Ayu Lestari Putri Gani (born August 13, 1991 ) is an Indonesian model . She became known to a wider public in 2015 as the winner of the third season of the casting show Asia's Next Top Model .

life and career

Gani was born on August 13, 1991 in Surakarta on Java , Indonesia . She plays u. a. Double bass and received a one-year scholarship in Cincinnati, USA. She studied English literature for six semesters at Sanata Dharma University in Yogyakarta before studying fashion business at LaSalle College in Jakarta from 2013 . In 2011, she took part in Femina Magazine's Wajah Femina beauty pageant , where she made it into the top 20 and was named Readers Favorite . In 2012 she performed at Jakarta Fashion Week . In 2015, Gani took part in the third season of Asia's Next Top Model and took first place. She was the first winner of the show from Indonesia and received a one-year contract as a model with Storm Model Management , the 2015 campaign as a model for TRESemmé, a shoot as a cover model for Harper's Bazaar magazine and a new Subaru XV . After winning Asia's Next Top Model, she also appeared on the magazine covers of Femina and Nylon Indonesia in 2015 and worked with the fashion label Minimal .
