Ayutthaya FC (Thai: สโมสร ฟุตบอล จังหวัด พระนครศรีอยุธยา) is a Thai football club from Ayutthaya , which plays in the Thai League 3 - Upper , the third highest Thai division.
Club history
The association was founded in 2009. He started in the third division of Thailand, the Regional League Division 2 . Here he played in the Central / East region until 2012. In 2012, the club was first and rose to the second division, the Thai Premier League Division 1 . In 2013 and 2014 they occupied a single-digit place in the table (8th / 6th). In 2015 they finished 17th and the club was relegated back to the third division. The 2016 season the club played in the Regional League Division 2 - Central . With the introduction of the league reform in 2017, they played in the Thai League 3 , Upper Region.
Stadion
The club plays its home games at the Bang Pa-in District Stadium in Bang Pa-in . The multi-purpose stadium has a capacity of 1,800 spectators.
