The Bangkok FC (Thai: สโมสร ฟุตบอล กรุงเทพมหานคร) is a Thai football club in the Thai capital Bangkok . The club plays in the Thai League 3 , the third highest division in Thailand.

history

The club was founded in 1999 as Bangkok Bravo Football Club . In 2010, when Natthaphol Teepsuwan took over the club, he changed the club's name to Bangkok Football Club . In 2007 the club played in Thailand's second division, the Thai Premier League Division 1 . At the end of the season they finished eleventh and had to suggest the way to the third division. From 2008 to 2010 the club played in the Regional League Division 2 . After finishing the 2010 season as champions, they rose again to the second division. Until 2017 they played in the Thai Premier League Division 1. When they were seventeenth they went back to the Thai League 3 , the third division of Thailand. The 2018 season ended with a fifth place.

Stadion

The club has been playing its home games at Bangkok University Stadium in Khlong Luang in Pathum Thani Province since the beginning of 2020 . The stadium has a capacity of 1000 people and is owned by Bangkok University .
