B&B Endemol Shine

B&B Endemol Shine is the largest Swiss television production company. It belongs equally to the international EndemolShineGroup and the Swiss FBM Group . It produces quiz shows , reality formats , documentaries and series for the German-speaking television market.

history

In 1990, B&B Medien was founded by Hannes Bichsel, who was then head of entertainment for Swiss television SRF , and the Zurich entrepreneur Freddy Burger. In 2000 the company entered into a 50:50 joint venture with the Dutch TV group EndemolShine (then Endemol ). The name was subsequently changed to b & b endemol AG. In 2015, the parent company endemol merged with the production companies Shine TV and CORE Media Group , whereupon the Swiss name was changed to B&B Endemol Shine.
