The Båken ( Norwegian for Bake ) is an isolated nunatak on the Princess Martha Coast of Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . It overlooks the northern valley of the Båkeneset headland , the northern foothills of the Ahlmannryggen .
Norwegian cartographers mapped it on the basis of aerial photographs and measurements of the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–1952) and gave it its descriptive name.
