Career
Pettersen played his first international tournaments in 1999 alongside Lars Jacob Boe . At the World Championships in Marseille , the Norwegians did not get beyond the shared last place. At the 2005 World Cup in Berlin, Pettersen / Horrem lost to the Cubans Álvarez / Bernal in the third game , before they failed in the losing round to Rogers / Dalhausser from the USA. At the 2006 European Championships they lost their opening game against the Austrians Berger / Gartmayer and then had to admit defeat to the Spaniards Herrera / Mesa in three sets . After the Acapulco Open, Pettersen ended his international career.
