Bérengère Schuh (born June 13, 1984 in Auxerre , Yonne ) is a French archer .

Career

Bérengère Schuh started her career as an archer in 1996 and made her international debut in 1999. During the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens , she took part in the Olympic Games for the first time.

Four years later, Schuh started again at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing . In the individual competition, she won the first two rounds against Pia Carmen Lionetti from Italy and Sayoko Kawauchi from Japan, before losing 104: 109 to South Korean Joo Hyun-jung in the round of 16 and was eliminated. Furthermore, she started in the team competition together with Sophie Dodémont and Virginie Arnold for France. The three of them reached the semifinals after beating Poland, where they lost significantly to the eventual Olympic champions from South Korea . In the following battle for third place, they won 203: 201 against Great Britain and thus won the bronze medal.

Schuh again took part in the Summer Olympics in London in 2012 .
