The Czech Dream is in 1997 by Norbert Gälle composed of Siegfried Rundel arranged and in the same year by the shear Blasmusik listed polka .

The polka is part of the standard repertoire of many marching bands . It is also played in discos and during Fasnet and Carnival . Set in the intermediate level, the polka has a playing time of 4:23 minutes.

The polka is explicitly interpreted as an instrumental polka by Norbert Gälle, but there is a song text by Andreas Raith with the lines If I dream in the night, I always dream of you. begins. This opening text is also the refrain .
