De Fetzer are a music group from the Rhine district of Neuss, which became known for dialect songs and other mood songs. Mainly the band has their appearances in the context of the Düsseldorf Carnival and Cologne Carnival . The band has been an integral part of the TV program “Düsseldorf Helau” on ARD and “Everything under one cap” on WDR since 1998 . Since 2007 she has been a guest at the carnival gala "Karneval Hoch Drei" on ZDF in Mainz.

In 2007 De Fetzer was the winner of the WDR's Foolish Hit Parade with the music track “Always when you stand in front of me”

In 2010, the Fetzers were awarded the Golden Treble Clef in Düsseldorf for special services to Rhenish songs.

For the carnival session 2014/2015, De Fetzer will present the traditional motto song "Traumhaft Jeck" in Düsseldorf.

Between May and October 2010 De Fetzer gave a total of 10 concerts without a fee, which took place in the Rhine district of Neuss and Düsseldorf. They collected 7129.93 euros in donations from the audience and the organizer for the Lichtblicke campaign, which was officially presented on December 15, 2010 at the local radio station NEWS 89.4 in Neuss.

In 2015 the band celebrated their 40th anniversary in Düsseldorf.

The band consists of the members Franz Kolbecher, Erich Kluth, Gerhard Klug, Josef Kollenbroich (Jupp), Udo Schillings and Thomas Meffert (Meffi).

In May 2020 the band announced that they wanted to break up Rose Monday 2020.
