Tariku Jufar (born July 18, 1984 ) is an Ethiopian marathon runner .

In 2003 he was third in the half marathon competition of the Paderborn Easter run and Ethiopian runner-up in the half marathon. At the World Half Marathon Championships in Vilamoura , he came in 17th place.

In 2006 he finished second in the Nice Half Marathon . The following year he was third in the Mumbai Marathon and the Istanbul Marathon . At the road running world championships in Udine he finished 18th and won bronze with the Ethiopian team. In 2008, a second place in Mumbai was followed by a third at the Hamburg Marathon . He finished second in the Los Angeles Marathon in 2009 and seventh in 2010, and fifth in the Florence Marathon in 2010.

In 2011 he finished fourth in Mumbai, second in Istanbul and set a course record in the Beirut Marathon . He set another course record at the 2012 Houston Marathon . Three months later, he was tenth at the Paris Marathon .
