Bülow Palais
The Bülow Palais is a luxury hotel in Dresden . In the house you will find the Caroussel restaurant , which has been awarded a Michelin star . The four-star sister hotel Bülow Residenz is 170 meters away in a restored cultural monument .
Bülow Palais
The Bülow Palais was built in February 2010 in the last vacant lot on Königstrasse in Dresden . The Dreikönigskirche is directly opposite. The rectory of the church stood on part of the building area of the Bülow Palais before its destruction in World War II. The facade was adapted to the original town houses of the Dresden Baroque in the baroque district of Königstrasse .
The hotel has 46 rooms and twelve suites on three floors. The Caroussel restaurant , which had been awarded a Michelin star since 1997, moved here from the Bülow Residenz, which had previously opened . Benjamin Biedlingmaier has been the head chef here since May 2013 . The name refers to historical equestrian shows in Dresden.
The Bülow Palais and the Bülow Residenz were created with the assistance of the Swiss designer Carlo Rampazzi. Both hotels are managed by hotel director Ralf J. Kutzner.
Bülow residence
In 1730 the town house at Rähnitzgasse 19 was built by the council builder Johann Gottfried Fehre as a representative residential building, near his other building sites: the Dreikönigskirche and the Augustusbrücke (Fehre also completed the Frauenkirche in 1738 ). In 1990 the dilapidated house was bought and restored by the married couple Monika and Horst Bülow from Stuttgart. The four-star hotel was opened in 1993 and has 23 rooms and five suites.
