Benjamin Biedlingmaier

Benjamin Biedlingmaier (* 1986 in Wiesensteig ) is a German chef.

Career

Biedlingmaier first cooked at the Hotel Traube Tonbach in the Silberberg restaurant in Baiersbronn and then switched to the Hotel am Schlossgarten in Stuttgart . He then went to the Mandarin Oriental in Munich and the Schlossstern restaurant in Velden Castle on Lake Wörthersee .

In 2010 he was part of the opening team of the La Mer restaurant with head chef Sebastian Zier on Sylt, which was awarded two Michelin stars in 2013 . Here he was sous chef .

Since May 2013, Biedlingmaier has been head chef at the Caroussel restaurant in the Bülow Palais in Dresden , which was awarded a Michelin star in the same year. Biedlingmaier cooks classic gourmet cuisine with a particular interest in vegetarian dishes.
