The Bürgerbräu Bad Reichenhall (full company: Bürgerbräu Bad Reichenhall August Röhm & Söhne KG) is a brewery founded in 1633 in Bad Reichenhall, Upper Bavaria .
history
Until 2016 it was assumed that the brewery was founded in Bad Reichenhall in 1633. In 2016, a local historian discovered evidence that the brewery had been around since 1494. After August Röhm acquired the former Lindacher-Bräuhaus in 1901, it was renamed Bürgerbräu Bad Reichenhall. The brewery is still owned by his family today. During the Second World War, the brewery was badly damaged by Allied bombers and rebuilt after the war.
Products
The range includes over a dozen different types of beer. In addition to various types of wheat beer , the brewery also produces export and Pils beers as well as dark beers . The annual output is 50,000 hl. The company also produces alcoholic mixed beer beverages and lemonades.

Connected to the brewery is the brewery inn with the same name and hotel.
The brewery owns the other inns Pfaubräu in Trostberg , Waldhauserbräu in Schönau am Königssee and the Zollhäusl in Freilassing .
Awards
The brewery has received a number of awards such as: B. the DLG gold medals (2007/2008/2009) and the Federal Honor Award 2008.
Others
The brewery is a member of the Brauring , a cooperation between private breweries from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
