The mayor Saarbruecken in district Saarbrücken in Trier in the Prussian Rhine province was a mayor with two towns, two villages, hamlets 2, 3 and 7 yards Bauer goods that 657 fires and 8,614 inhabitants had (as of 1828).

The city is u. a. Seat of the district authority and a court of justice for the mayorships of Saarbrücken, Völklingen, Gersweiler, Klein-Blittersdorf, Arnual and Ludweiler. The town includes: the Rodenhof and Teutschhaus farms, the tobacco factory Sensenwerk, the no longer operated Drahtzug factory and the Teutsch mill.
  • St. Johann has 1 Protestant, 1 Catholic parish church, 200 private houses, 1 brick factory, 3053 inhabitants (in 1828). The town includes: the Krämershaus farm, the Kohlwaage coal defeat, the Ober-, Mittel-, Unter- and Säg-Mühle.
  • Malstatt , a village on the Saar, with 1 Evangel. Parish church, 48 feet, 339 inh ., A soot factory , a brick factory and a grinding mill. These include the Kaisershäuschen, Neuerrodenhof and Rastpfuhl farms with 4 Fst., 32 inh .
  • Burbach , a village on the Saar, with the Ludwigsberger Torhaus, 1 grinding and oil mill, 1 brick factory, 44 feet, 358 inh. These include the 2 farms Fischerhaus with 2 feet, 15 in.
  • Rußhütte , a hamlet with the Rushütterhof, 26 feet, 346 inhabitants, and coal mines.
  • Brebach , a hamlet on the influence of the Scheidter Bach in the Saar, with the Karchers fulling and oil mill, the Kronen and fulling mill, 45 feet, 361 inh. And the iron hammer, rolling and cutting factory Halberg .
