Bürgstadter Centgrafenberg

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Centgrafenberg is a vineyard in Bürgstadt where the Erf flows into the Main .

The southern slopes and steep slopes benefit from the microclimate of the valley basin around Miltenberg , which is framed by the Spessart and Odenwald . The soil is a red sandstone - weathered soil with different levels of clay. The soil is partly stony and therefore favorable for the cultivation of red wine . White wines are produced where the sandstone is more strongly mixed with fertile clay .
