The Bōzu Peak (from Japanese ぼ う ず 山 Bōzu-yama , German 'bald mountain' ; in Norway Fleinskallen , translated: naked mountain ) is the highest mountain in the center of Byvågåsane in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land with 235 m . It rises up on the east bank of the Lützow-Holm-Bucht, which is part of the Prince Harald Coast . To the north is Tankobu Peak ( Japaneseた ん こ ぶ 山 ).
Norwegian cartographers mapped it using aerial photographs taken during the Lars Christensen Expedition in 1936/37 . Participants in a Japanese Antarctic expedition that lasted from 1957 to 1962 carried out measurements and the naming.
