B. meets ... was a talk show that was produced between 1993 and 2004 and moderated by Bettina Böttinger . The program was stopped on September 4, 2004 for cost reasons. The broadcast concept was that the guests were surprised by the appearance of other guests. “In this way,” wrote the production company, “personalities as diverse as Herbert Feuerstein and Ulla Schmidt , Campino and Gretchen Dutschke , Uta Ranke-Heinemann and Günter Wallraff were brought into conversation.” In November 1994 and January 1996, Böttinger was for the moderation of the show was nominated for the Adolf Grimme Prize .

Together with the photographer Michael Jaeger, Böttinger published the illustrated book Doppelportraits in 1999 . Portraits of prominent guests of the WDR show 'B. meets' .

Broadcast slots

From 1993 to 2004 the program ran on West German radio and from 2000 to 2001 on Hessian radio . From 2001 to 2004 it was also broadcast by 3sat and on Rundfunk-Berlin-Brandenburg and repeated from 2005 to 2006 at EinsFestival .
