B1A4 is a South Korean pop band formed by WM Entertainment in 2011.

Band history

On April 21, 2011, they released their first album Let's Fly .

B1A4 (2012)

On January 26, 2013, they gave a sold out concert in front of 30,000 fans in Japan.

According to the US American Billboard magazine , B1A4 have gained an international fan base in a very short time. She received an award for best newcomer at the 27th Golden Disk Awards .

On June 30, 2018, WM Entertainment announced that Jinyoung and Baro had decided not to renew their expired contracts and to leave the agency, and thus also the group. The remaining members received new contracts. What the future of B1A4 looks like has not yet been decided.

  • Sandeul (born March 20, 1992), actually Lee Jung Hwan, lead singer
  • Gongchan (born August 14, 1993), actually Gong Chan Shik, singer
  • CNU (born June 16, 1991), actually Shin Dong Woo, singer, rapper

Former members:

  • Jinyoung (born November 18, 1991), actually Jung Jin Young, singer.
  • Baro (born September 5, 1992) actually Cha Sun Woo, rapper

Awards

B1A4 won the New Rising Star Award at the 26th Golden Disk Awards in 2011 together with A Pink and Dalshabet for a CD production for the EP Let's Fly. In 2012 the band was nominated for the best album of the year ( The B1A4 ) and appeared on the main program of the Asia Song Festival .
