The Goldcoast Wallabies basketball club (formerly Küsnacht-Erlenbach basketball club, BCKE) is one of the largest Swiss basketball clubs and in the canton of Zurich covers the entire right-hand side of Lake Zurich, the Meilen district , with the communities of Zollikon , Küsnacht , Erlenbach , Herrliberg , Meilen , Männedorf and Stäfa . The club is primarily based in Küsnacht and Erlenbach .
history
The Küsnacht basketball club was founded in 1972 and merged with the Erlenbach basketball club in 1996 to form the Küsnacht-Erlenbach basketball club (BCKE).
Teams
The men's team plays in the second highest national league, the National League B (basketball) . The women's team also played in the National League B until 2016, but was then withdrawn due to a lack of players and tried to start again in the 2nd division.
