The BKK Kassana was a German statutory health insurance from the group of company health insurance funds that was open nationwide.

history

Originally the cash register was called BKK der Stahl- und Drahtwerke in Röslau or BKK Röslau and was founded in Röslau in 1887 . After the cooperation with the Savings Banks Association in Bavaria, the name was changed to BKK Kassana in November 2005 . On July 1, 2009 the Autoclub BKK merged with the BKK Kassana and on January 1, 2011 it came to a merger with the BKK salvina .

It had its origins in the companies Sparkassenverband Bayern and ADAC .

In its meeting on October 30, 2014, the administrative board of BKK Kassana decided to merge BKK Kassana with BKK VerbundPlus . The board of directors of BKK VerbundPlus also voted for a merger on January 1, 2015 on the afternoon of the same day.

Contribution rate

Since January 1, 2009 the contribution rates have been standardized by the legislator.
