Oberndorf is one of the five districts of the municipality of Siegbach in the Lahn-Dill district in central Hesse .

Oberndorf is surrounded by forest in the Gladenbacher Bergland .

history

The village was first mentioned in a document in the Lorsch Codex in 876 . The fortified tower of the church dates from 1417. The nave was added in 1670.

Territorial reform

On December 1, 1970 Oberdorf was in the course of administrative reform in Hesse on a voluntary basis in the community Eisemroth incorporated . This came to the newly formed Siegbach community on December 31, 1971.
