BMW UKL platform

The UKL platform (UKL = lower class) is an automotive platform that was developed by BMW . It has a modular structure so that it can be used for various front-wheel and all-wheel drive cars of the group and has two variants, UKL1 and UKL 2.

The first production vehicle based on the platform is the Mini, released in 2014, which has the internal model names F56; in its various body shapes. F55 and F57 carries.

Another variant of the UKL platform is called FAAR and was developed for hybrid and electric vehicles.
