CB Ciudad de Logroño ( Club Balonmano Ciudad de Logroño ) is a Spanish handball club from the city of Logroño in the autonomous region of La Rioja in Spain . The association was only founded in 2003. Since 2006 his first men's team has been playing in the ASOBAL league , the first Spanish league. The first team has been competing under the sponsor name Naturhouse La Rioja since the 2007/08 season . After finishing third in the 2012/13 season, the 2013/14 runner-up was the greatest success in the club's short history. When they first participated in the EHF Champions League 2013/14 , the team lost in the group stage with u. a. the defending champion HSV Hamburg and the later champion SG Flensburg-Handewitt , against whom they drew at home.
