The SV Grün-Weiss Brieselang is a sports club from Brieselang in the Havelland district . The football department grew in the season 2016/17 in the Oberliga Northeast and two seasons held in this league.

history

The association was founded in October 1950 as SG Brieselang . In October 1952, the association was assigned a sponsoring company and from now on it was called BSG Chemie Brieselang . During the GDR era, the club played in the third-rate football district league in Potsdam from 1952/53 and from 1960 to 1966/67 .

On July 22, 1997, the club was called SV Grün-Weiss Brieselang . In 2012 he was promoted to the national class, which was won in the first season, so that Brieselang was promoted to the national league in 2013. After two years, the club made it to the sixth class Brandenburg league . After Brieselang was leader of the Brandenburg League from the fifth matchday onwards in the 2015/16 season , the club finally won the league with an eleven point lead over Breesener SV Guben-Nord and rose to the fifth-class Oberliga Nordost .

After two seasons in the Northeast Football League , relegation to the Brandenburg League 2018/19 followed at the end of the 2017/18 season .
