Bydgoskie Towarzystwo Wioślarskie (BTW for short, in German Bromberger Rudergesellschaft ) is a Polish rowing club from the city of Bydgoszcz . It was founded in 1920 as Tryton Bydgoszcz .

successes

For the BTW several athletes have competed in the Olympic rowing regatta in the past . Leon Birkholc and Franciszek Bronikowski won bronze in a four with helmsman at the Olympic Games in Amsterdam in 1928 . In many years, other rowers of the rowing club started at rowing world championships and European rowing championships .

BTW rowers have won numerous national championships in Poland. The rowing club won the Polish rowing club championship seven times in 1927, 1937, 1938, 1946, 1947, 1948 and 1950. A point system is used to determine the best rowing club in a series of championship regattas and ergometer competitions over the course of a calendar year.

The BTW is next Bydgostia Bydgoszcz one of two in competitive sports active rowing clubs of the city.
