Baach is part of the town of Weinstadt in the Remstal near Stuttgart with almost 70 inhabitants.

Baach is located in a notch valley that cut into the Stubensandstein and the colorful marl south of Schnait , in the center of a valley spider with many springs, where the Beutelsbach, then called the Schweizerbach on the lower reaches , from the confluence of its left main branch Gunzenbach from the left and its right branch Schlierbach is born. The town center is about 315  m above sea level. NN . The place is surrounded by mixed forests and orchards.

Economy and Infrastructure

The district road 1210 leads in the valley of the Beutelsbach from Schnait to Baach and then over a forest path on the Schurwald surrounding the valley up to Baltmannsweiler .
