Babkowice ( German Babkowitz , 1939–1945 Frauendorf ) is a village in the municipality of Pępowo in the powiat Gostyński in the Greater Poland Voivodeship in western central Poland . The place is located about 5 km southeast of Pępowo, 21 km southeast of Gostyń and 72 km south of the state capital Poznań .
history
The place belonged to the Gostyn district from 1887 to 1919 and had 315 inhabitants in 1910.
