Babylove & The Van Dangos is a Danish ska - band . It was founded in Copenhagen in 2004 .

history

"Babylove & The Van Dangos" were founded in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2004 and released their first album "Run Run Rudie" in 2005 on Lovers Choice Records and in 2006 in the US version on Megalith Records. In 2008 "Lovers Choice" was released on Megalith, Mad Butcher and Gateway Music and in 2011 their third album "The Money & The Time" was released on Lovers Choice and Jump Up Records. In April 2012 her fourth album "Let It Come, Let It Go" was released on " Pork Pie " and in 2015 her fifth album "On my Life".

"Babylove & The Van Dangos" play a mixture of Ska , Reggae and Rocksteady , but are influenced by many other musical styles such as blues , doo wop and soul .

They played more than 400 concerts worldwide, including z. B. the Roskilde Festival.

In the eight years of their existence they have worked with international artists from the ska and reggae scene such as Doreen Shaffer , Victor Rice , Chris Murray and Coolie Ranx from the Toasters .
