The brook (more rarely the brook) is a left-hand tributary of the Luppe in Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt . It is about 16.6 kilometers long, with Wiesengraben as a source river about 24 kilometers.

course

The brook begins in the south of the Markranstadt district of Großlehna in the district of Leipzig at the confluence of the much longer meadow ditch with the smaller Renne. It flows west to the crossing under the A 9 and then turns to the northwest. The stream then runs almost parallel to the Elsterfloßgraben through the Leuna district of Kötzschau , where it is dammed in the Schladebach reservoir to the west.

At the Wüsteneutzsch, which also belongs to Leuna, the brook takes a roughly northerly direction, which it maintains up to its mouth. Passing Friedensdorf , after crossing under the B 181 , the stream reaches the Schkopau district of Luppenau , where it flows into the Luppe on the left.
