The Baden-Baden wine house Mauerberg GmbH is in Baden Baden- district Neuweier based wine producers .

history

After a profitable vintage in 1920, many winegrowers found no buyers for their products. Because of this, the idea of self-help arose in the form of founding a wine cooperative. In 1922, 58 winegrowers got together and founded the Neuweier winegrowers' cooperative on August 6, 1922. In 1970 the wine cooperative merged with the Affentaler Winzervereinigung Bühlertal, founded in 1907, to form the Neuweier-Bühlertal eG wine cooperative. The merger brought red wine from the famous Affental region to the pure Riesling cooperative .

In 2006, following a resolution by the members, the name was changed to Baden-Baden Winzergenossenschaft. It is hoped that the name of the spa town will make it more popular . In 2007 there was another merger, this time with the winery Hans StichdenBuben eG Steinbach . Another merger then took place in 2012 with what was then the Varnhalt wine cooperative . Thus, all of the winegrowers' cooperatives in the Baden-Baden area were brought together under one roof. In July 2018, the members of the Baden-Badener Winzergenossenschaft and the Affentaler Winzer decided to merge the two companies. The new cooperative is called Affentaler Winzer eG . The further marketing of the wines from the Baden-Badener Rebland was placed in the hands of the newly founded Baden-Badener Weinhaus am Mauerberg GmbH.
