Badi is a village in the Metropolitan City of Bologna the Region Emilia-Romagna in Italy . It belongs to the municipality of Castel di Casio from which it is about five kilometers away.
geography
Badi can be reached from the provincial capital of Bologna via the state road 64, better known as Porrettana . If you turn left into the provincial road Teglie almost at the end of the little village of Ponte della Venturina , you will reach Badi after another 15 to 20 minutes ascent.
Badi is not far from the Lago di Suviana reservoir , the surroundings of which are considered a local recreation and nature reserve. From there you can go on hikes into the surrounding mountains of the Apennines , where you can easily reach the border with Tuscany.
Badi is embedded in the Emilian Apennines at an altitude between 600 and 750 m slm
