Badmómzjay
Badmómzjay (civil: Jordan Napieray ) is a German rapper with Polish roots.
life and career
In 2019 she signed a record deal with the major label Universal Music , shortly after she founded her own label, Bad Momz Records . Her songs quickly received millions of hits on Spotify and YouTube .
Her first song called circus she published in January 2020. In June 2019 she was Featuring -Guest in the music video Papi of Monet192 . With her single Move , she hit the German single charts for four weeks at the end of April / beginning of May 2020 (top position 27th).
Her song Snowbunny came under fire in mid-2020 for allegedly containing racist and sexist remarks. Badmómzjay pointed out that it was a misinterpretation and apologized for this misunderstanding. According to the online magazine hip-hop.de, Badmómzjay is one of the “most exciting young rappers in the German rap scene”. She is openly committed to her bisexuality and the LGBT community.
style
In her songs and music videos she clearly distinguishes herself from the classic German rap . With her (clothing) style she tries to emphasize this demarcation and her closeness to American hip-hop.
In an article on the hip-hop radio station BigFM , she is described as "provocative but personable and authentic". According to Laut.de , she likes to sell herself as the German Bhad Bhabie .
In her songs she takes up well-known works of trap music , imitates role models such as Nicki Minaj , Cardi B and 21 Savage and switches between German and English. Her red-dyed hair and long artificial fingernails are one of her trademarks .
