Bagʻdod is an urban-type settlement (shaharcha) in the Uzbek province of Fargʻona in the Fergana Valley and the capital of the district of the same name .

The place is about 50 km northwest of the provincial capital Farg'ona and about 25 km southeast of the district-free city of Qo'qon . Bag'dod has a train station on the Qo'qon– Marg'ilon line of the Uzbek Railways ( O'zbekiston Temir Yo'llari ). The Great Ferghana Canal runs west of the village .

In 1979, Bag'dod received urban-type settlement status. According to the 1989 population census, the place had 10,086 inhabitants, according to a calculation for 2000, the population was 12,800.
