Bahachivka ( Ukrainian Багачівка ; Russian Богачовка Bogachevka ) is a village in the center of Ukraine in Cherkassy Oblast with about 700 inhabitants (2001).
The village, first mentioned in 1546, is the center of the district council of the same name , which also includes the villages of Mykhailivka ( Михайлівка ) with about 200 inhabitants and Pavlivka ( Павлівка ) with about 80 inhabitants.
Bahatschiwka is located in the Rayon Zvenyhorodka on the highway N 16 . Zvenyhorodka district center is 11 km to the west and Cherkasy oblast center is 100 km northeast of the village. The town of Watutine is 11 km southwest of Bahachivka.
